Biography
With over 8 years experience in the design industry, Josh has designed a wide variety of products ranging from small consumer Items like mugs and teapots to larger electrical goods like vacuum cleaners and range cookers.
After graduating from Sheffield Hallam University in 2012 with a First in BA (Hons) Product Design he worked for 3 years in Dyson's 'Design and model making Team'. Whilst at Dyson he worked on a variety of projects following them throughout the design process helping transform them from initial concepts into products ready for manufacture.
Since leaving Dyson in late 2015 he has taken on freelance work and worked permanently in Sheffield.
In 2017 he set up Josh Bagshawe Design and has worked with a variety of clients, most notably with AGA on their new eR3 series (2018).
Early life
Josh grew up in a small village called Wormhill in the heart of the Peak District.
Since starting out in the design industry josh has lived and worked in Bristol, Sheffield and most recently Shrewsbury. He currently splits his time between Telford and Manchester.
He grew up within artistic family with both of his parents being artists and his three older brothers all working within the design industry. Outside of design he enjoys fly fishing, metal detecting, pottery, photography and keeping fit through Crossfit & running.
